How It Works
- Pick your Dates and Make your reservation online or over the phone, whatever works best for you.
- If you have already gotten your fishing license (a link will be provided in your confirmation email), we will head straight to the river.
- After rigging up the rods and the boat we will hit the water. If you are new to fishing, our expert (and very patient) guides will give you all of the instruction you need. Then it's on to Catching Fish!!!
- Our day is spent floating down the river, fishing from the boat as well as stopping on shore to work good spots. We have snacks and drinks on the boat, and on full day trips we stop for a delicious lunch.
- At the end of the day we will load up the truck and drive you back to your hotel, where you can rest up for the next day's adventure.
- Our company is small and therefore very flexible and more than happy to customize your trip to fit your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does pricing work for 3 people?
Each boat holds two anglers plus a guide. For groups of three, the right setup depends on your specific party. In some cases a third person can join one boat for an additional fee, and in others two boats makes more sense. We sort this out on a case-by-case basis to make sure everyone is comfortable on the water. Give us a call and we'll walk you through the options and exact pricing for your group.
What river will we fish?
We don't pre-assign a river at booking, since conditions like flow, hatches, and weather change daily. Your dedicated guide contacts you the evening before to confirm which water will fish best that day. If you have a specific river in mind, just note it when booking.
What happens if it rains?
Jackson Hole has a high desert climate, so all-day rain is rare and scattered showers are common. Bring a rain jacket and fishing carries on as normal; we rarely cancel for weather. If a full day of storms is forecast, we can look at rescheduling based on availability.
What should we wear?
Jackson Hole weather shifts quickly, so layers are key: a warm shell, fleece, and a rain jacket cover most conditions. From April through June and September through October, come prepared for winter and hope for summer. Wear shoes you don't mind getting wet, like sneakers, sandals, or hiking shoes.
Are there bathroom facilities?
Bathrooms are typically available at our launch and landing points along the river. If you need to stop during the float, your guide will pull over at a private spot along the bank. We always carry bathroom supplies on the boat, so you're covered either way.
I've never fly fished before. Is this trip suitable?
Absolutely. Our guides are skilled instructors who teach the basics and progressively build your technique throughout the day. Beginners and experienced anglers are equally welcome, and your guide will tailor the pace and instruction to match your skill level.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 50% deposit is charged at booking, with the remaining balance billed to your card 72 hours before the trip. Cancellations made more than 72 hours out are refundable minus a $40 per boat fee. No refunds are issued for cancellations within 72 hours of the trip.
How long is the trip?
Our trips are an average of 8 hours to give you maximum flexibility. Most groups spend several hours exploring, relaxing, and enjoying the experience at their own pace.
