Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties

Trade the bar crawl for a drift boat. A guided fishing trip is a unique and genuinely fun way to celebrate before the big day, and no fishing experience is necessary. We will take care of everything so your group can relax and enjoy the river.

Fishing is one of those rare activities that works for nearly every age and skill level. We can accommodate large extended family groups across multiple boats, keeping everyone together on the water while giving each boat its own dedicated guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Will all of our boats fish the same river?

Each boat accommodates two anglers and a guide, with a third spot available for a small child at $200. For larger groups, we run multiple boats simultaneously and can scale up to whatever size your party requires. Gratuities can also be built into your package price so the total cost is clear upfront and guests never need to worry about it on the day. Reach out directly so we can build a package around your group.

  • Can the timing be customized for our group?

Yes. We're happy to work around your group's schedule. Whether you need an early start, a later pickup, or a specific window for your event, just let us know when you book and we'll build the day around you.

  • What happens if it rains during our group trip?

Jackson Hole's high desert climate means scattered showers are far more common than full days of rain. With rain jackets on hand, your trip carries on and we rarely cancel for weather. If a sustained storm is forecast, we can discuss rescheduling the entire group based on availability.

  • Can we end the trip early if needed?

Group trips are private, so the schedule is flexible and your guides will adapt to what your party wants. If your group is ready to wrap up before the planned end time, just let your guide know. We're a small company that prides itself on customization.

  • What should our group wear?

Layered clothing works best, since Jackson Hole weather can shift from cool morning temperatures into the 80s by afternoon. Suggest your group bring a warm shell, fleece, hat, and rain jacket, with lighter pieces underneath. Footwear should be something everyone doesn't mind getting wet around the boat.

  • Are there bathrooms available during the trip?

Bathrooms are typically available at our launch and landing points along the river. If anyone in your group needs to step away during the float, the guide will pull over at a private spot on the bank. Toilet paper is always carried on each boat.

  • Are beginners welcome in our group?

Absolutely. Our guides are skilled instructors who teach the basics to anyone new to fly fishing. Mixed-experience groups are common, and your guides will tailor their attention to each angler so beginners and seasoned fishers both have a great day.

  • Can Jackson Hole Anglers send me a proposal/cost estimate?

Yes, give us a call and we can work up an “all-inclusive” proposal.

  • What's an appropriate tip for the guides?

Tipping is appreciated but never required, and most groups choose to thank each guide individually at the end of the day. The general guideline is around 20% of the trip cost, similar to a restaurant. Adjust based on each guide's effort and the experience your group had on the water. For corporate outings or pre-paid events, we can build gratuities directly into your trip cost so guests never have to think about it.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

A 50% deposit is collected at booking, with the remaining balance auto-charged to your card 72 hours before the trip. Cancellations made earlier than 72 hours out are refundable minus a $40 per boat fee. No refunds are issued for cancellations within 72 hours of the trip.

How Group Trips Work

Each boat holds two fishermen plus a guide, and we can run as many boats as your group requires. All boats stay in close proximity throughout the day, share lunch together on the riverbank, and can switch passengers between boats if desired. Trip timing can be customized to fit your group's schedule, and round-trip transportation, all gear, instruction, snacks, and a streamside lunch on full-day trips are all included. Gratuities can also be built into your trip cost so your guests never need to reach into their pockets.
